The philanthropist Kathryn Murdoch has prioritized donations to environmental causes for more than a decade. She has, she said, a deep understanding of how inhospitable the planet will become if climate change is not addressed. An episode might include a visit to a floating village or a conversation about artificial intelligence with the musician Grimes. “There’s room for screaming,” Wallach said. Watch “Apocalypse Now” (1979), “Full Metal Jacket” (1987) or “Platoon” (1986) and you should know what war really means. “Ungentlemanly Warfare” features a disreputable band of riff raff brought together for a super-secret mission. Ritchie makes no such concessions to authenticity in “Ungentlemanly Warfare.”Henry Cavill is Gus March-Phillips in Guy Ritchie’s “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare." Even when a war movie doesn’t actively mislead you, the promise of being privy to an unvarnished, authentic and extreme experience can be seductive. “It would decay in eternal peace.”Compared to that kind of cult of authentic war, “Ungentlemanly Warfare” feels fairly harmless, and not in a bad way.

In his introductory remarks before a screening of his new Guy Ritchie movie "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" attended by Business Insider, Cavill made a subtle dig at his Man of Steel drama with DC Studios and WB. While praising his collaboration with Ritchie, Cavill noted that he'd worked with the director before, when he had a lead role in the 2015 spy film "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." I will, after all, not be returning as Superman," Cavill wrote. He also reunited with Ritchie already for the director's upcoming 2025 film "In the Grey," which will also re-team him with his "Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" costar Eiza González.

If Bill Gates met a time traveler from the year 2100, his first question wouldn't be about his family, or Microsoft's stock price. "In the end, it's all measured through human welfare," Gates said on the most recent episode of his podcast, "Unconfuse Me." Gates asked Ritchie for her "top questions" to ask a time traveler from the future. The answer would reveal quite a bit about poverty rates in the future, and whether "we have made progress on health, agriculture, poverty," Ritchie said. But upon reflection, despite his personal interests in energy and AI, Gates changed his mind and aligned his response more closely with Ritchie's question.

More than 20 Republican lawmakers in the House and Senate sent Gensler a letter last fall, calling on the SEC to withdraw the rule. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.). The Senate bill currently lacks Democratic support, meaning it's unlikely to get much traction as long as Democrats control the Senate. If the final SEC rule is issued after the beginning of November, and not before it, then the rule could fall in the window of CRA, come January 2025. He also argued the precedent has been for the SEC to require firms to disclose potential areas of interest, not eliminate them completely.

The fatal “Rust” shooting offered a vivid reminder that many of the guns used on film sets are real. Sometimes they are loaded with blanks — cartridges with gunpowder but no projectiles — that produce a loud bang and a flash when fired. But while live ammunition is almost always banned on sets, real guns can of course also be loaded with real bullets, which is what happened in 2021 on the day Ms. Hutchins was killed. But since “Rust,” many armorers, who are responsible for firearms safety on sets, have seen opportunities dwindle, several said in interviews. And demand has increased for alternatives to real guns.
